Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Keez Car Rentals (“Keez,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). By renting a vehicle from
Keez Car Rentals, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by the
following Terms and Conditions.

1. Rental Agreement

The rental agreement constitutes a legally binding contract between Keez Car Rentals and the renter.

• Renters must be at least 21 years of age and possess a valid driver’s license.
• Renters under the age of 25 may be subject to an underage driver fee due to insurance requirements.
• Only authorized drivers listed on the rental agreement are permitted to operate the vehicle.

2. Authorized Use of Vehicle

Vehicles may be used solely for personal transportation by the renter and authorized drivers.

Prohibited Use

Commercial use is strictly prohibited, including but not limited to:

• Ride-sharing services (Uber, Lyft, etc.)
• Delivery services (DoorDash, Uber Eats, Grubhub, etc.)
• Any business or revenue-generating activity

Any unauthorized or prohibited use will result in immediate termination of the rental agreement and
may subject the renter to additional charges and liability.

3. Geographic Usage Restrictions

Vehicles may be operated only within the contiguous 48 United States.

The following locations are strictly prohibited:

• Alaska
• Hawaii
• U.S. territories
• Canada
• Mexico

Violations may result in:

• Immediate termination of the rental agreement
• Penalties and additional charges
• Full responsibility for vehicle recovery, towing, and transport costs

4. Reservations and Payment

• All reservations are subject to vehicle availability.
• A valid credit or debit card in the renter’s name is required.
• Cancellation policies and applicable fees are outlined in the reservation confirmation.
• Failure to follow cancellation timelines may result in charges.

5. Rental Period and Extensions

• The rental period begins and ends at the date and time specified in the reservation.
• Rental extensions must be requested before the scheduled return time and are subject to availability and approval.
• Unauthorized extensions may result in additional charges or penalties.

6. Vehicle Condition and Responsibility

• Vehicles must be returned in the same condition as received.
• Renters must report any damage, mechanical issues, or accidents immediately.
• Renters are responsible for damage, excessive wear, loss, or cleaning costs caused by negligence or misuse.

7. Fuel and Mileage Policy

Fuel Policy

• Vehicles must be returned with the same fuel level as at pickup.
• Fuel shortages will be charged at $10 per gallon.

Mileage Policy

• Rentals include 200 free miles per day, unless otherwise stated.
• Additional mileage is charged at $0.49 per mile.

8. Insurance Requirements

• Keez Car Rentals does not provide liability insurance for renters.
• Renters must carry minimum liability insurance as required by state law.
• If personal insurance is insufficient, renters may purchase optional coverage, including:

• Renter’s Contingent Liability Insurance (RCLI)
• Rental Collision Protection (RCP)

Additional service or credit card processing fees may apply.

9. Late Returns

• A 30-minute grace period is provided for returns.
• Returns beyond the grace period may incur hourly or daily rental charges.

10. Non-Smoking Policy

Smoking is strictly prohibited in all Keez vehicles.

• A cleaning fee of up to $250 will be charged if smoking is detected.

11. Maintenance and Repairs

• Keez Car Rentals covers routine maintenance.
• Renters are responsible for repairs resulting from:

• Negligence
• Misuse
• Unauthorized modifications or alterations

12. Taxes and Fees

Applicable state and local taxes, fees, and surcharges will be added to all rental charges as required by law.

13. Termination of Agreement

Keez Car Rentals reserves the right to immediately terminate the rental agreement if the renter:

• Violates any terms or conditions
• Engages in prohibited or unauthorized vehicle use
• Provides false or misleading information
• Poses a risk to vehicle safety, integrity, or public safety

14. Acknowledgment

By renting a vehicle from Keez Car Rentals, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to
these Terms and Conditions. Failure to comply may result in additional fees, termination of the rental
agreement, and/or legal liability.
